Malus Royal Raindrops

For bold colour from first flush to final leaf fall, Malus Royal Raindrops canメt be beaten. A small tree growing to 6m tall by 5m wide, the rounded canopy is covered in deep pink flowers in spring, perhaps the boldest coloured of all the blossoming trees. The serrated foliage is rich burgundy over the summer months, much like the Forest Pansy, but requiring less protection from strong and hot winds. In Autumn foliage turns rich red, copper and gold in colour. Over the growing season, small deep red crab apples develop and will hang on the branches through Autumn and into early Winter. A great choice for bringing colour into the garden throughout the year.
