Gardening can be as much or as little as you like. For some it’s just a matter of trimming the hedge and mowing the lawn. But it can also be a creative pursuit that even on a small scale has great ambitions.

Home of probably every DIY that man kind has ever under taken, pinterest has huge catalog of garden inspo that includes everything from Up-cycled furniture to mood board worthy landscaped gardens from across the globe. And being able to create boards is a good way to save and organised your ideas.
There are a number of reputable online magazines from both here in Oz and abroad. Some cover a broad range of subjects while others are more specialist. Below are a few of our favourites.
If you’re in the mood for a binge then there are a few series that you can’t go past for gardening goodness.
Whether you are new to the gardening game or are a seasoned gardener, you will always learn something new on Gardening Australia. Their website also has a back catalog of past episodes and is a great place to start when trouble shooting a problem in the garden.
You can currently stream a number of gardening shows on Netflix, such as Big Dreams, Small Spaces and Love Your Garden.
There are hundreds if not thousands of beautiful, glossy coffee table gardening books out there. Your local library is likely to have a good selection and is a great option if you’re new to gardening. Save money and be resource friendly if you’re likely to only read the book once!

Open Gardens Victoria host the showing of score of private gardens right throughout the year. Nothing beats seeing a garden in the flesh to spark excitement in your own plans!
Also take a trip to your locals parks and check out your neighbours gardens to see what if flourishing in your own conditions!
