Pin Oak

A much loved, long lived large tree that is iconic in Melbourneメs leafy east. The Pin Oak grows to a mature height of 30m tall by 15m wide, making it a stately specimen for larger landscapes. With a strong leader giving a pyramidal shape when young, maturing to an oval canopy, this is a hardy tree that will last for generations. Throughout Summer the canopy consists of fresh green, deeply lobed foliage that casts cooling shade. In Autumn leaves turn a distinctive reddish brown, and will hang on the branches through winter until SPrings fresh growth shoots.
